Greetings
Yuzo Komuro, MD, PhD
President, Rhinoplasty Society of Asia 2025 (RSA2025)
Professor and Chair, Department of Plastic Surgery, Teikyo University
I am pleased to announce that the 3rd Rhinoplasty Society of Asia will be held on Friday, September 26th and Saturday, September 27th, 2025 at Toranomon Hills Forum in Tokyo.
This society was established based on the concept that rhinoplasty for Asians requires a different approach than that for Caucasians. The first meeting was held in Penang, Malaysia, the second in Beijing, China, and this third meeting will be held in Tokyo, Japan.
In recent years, the concept of structural rhinoplasty has become widespread, and preservation rhinoplasty has been attracting attention, particularly in Europe and the United States. However, these surgical techniques cannot be directly applied to Asians. I believe that it is necessary to modify them to suit the Asian anatomy. I believe it is our mission to seek surgeries tailored for Asians.
Toranomon, the host city, is at the heart of Tokyo and is currently undergoing a dramatic transformation through redevelopment. We hope you will enjoy your time in Tokyo.
We are preparing to make this conference a great learning opportunity for all attendees. We sincerely look forward to welcoming you to Tokyo.
